Dana Reedy… a singer of range and creativity, sings jazz but also sings a variety of styles including pop, bossa nova, blues, French songs and original songs/compositions. Dana performs in venues, restaurants, bistros and jazz bars in New York City, New Jersey and New York State.
In February 2010, Dana completed her first studio produced CD entitled Life’s Touch: Songs of the Phoenix recording bebop, jazz standards and pop tunes plus one original song entitled ‘Life’s Touch’. Dana performed all percussion for the song. Also an accomplished violinist, Dana improvised violin on her CD.
In 2013, Dana completed 2nd CD entitled ‘Dana Reedy & Night Birds, Live at Jazzberry Patch’.
In November 2015, Dana completed her 3rd CD entitled ‘Shades Of Love, with the Victor Jones
Orchestrio (Victor Jones, drums; Alex Blake, bass; Dylan Meek, piano) and will soon have a CD
release of ‘Shades Of Love’ at the Zinc Bar in NYC in July 2016.
Fortunate to be born to parents who loved music, Dana started violin lessons at the age of 10.
After her second child, Dana began to sing in 2004 and has been blessed to sing with today’s
leading jazz musicians including Rave Tesar, Kermit Driscoll, Bill Tesar, Bill Pernice, Pete
McCann, Terry McManus, Jimmy Cozier, Bob Rodriguez, Nat Janoff, Terry Silverlight, Glenn
Alexander, Greg Murphy, Ed Cherry, Harvie S, James Robbins, Morrie Louden, Thomas
Galliano, Gary Wang, Craig Brann, Nick Morrison, Alex Blake, Victor Jones, Dylan Meek, Larry
Corban, Akiko Tsaruga to name a few.
